Decatur – Margaret E. Huebner, 80, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Margaret was born in Kansas City, MO, on June 15, 1946, to Victor and Agnes (Lillis) Losson. She married Dennis L. Huebner on June 6, 1970, in Monroe City, MO, and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2023. Margaret worked as a teacher and former member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in MO. She loved travelling and took many trips with her husband, Dennis, via automobile, visiting nearly every state. Her favorite trip was to Ireland.
Surviving are her children: Dennis Huebner (Trish) of MO, Ann McKeown (Bob) of Decatur, and Daniel Huebner (Lynn Miller) of MO; grandchildren: Logan Vanderboegh, Ethan Vanderboegh, Mason Huebner, Jude Huebner, and Reagan Huebner; siblings: Lawrence Losson (Bonnie) of MO, and Michael Losson (Kathy) of MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The family is planning a graveside service at 11 am, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Jude Cemetery, Monroe City, MO.
