Margaret Maddox's Obituary
Maddox- Margaret Maddox, of Decatur, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 13, 2010, while living at McKinley Court Center.
She was born in Clinton, IL September 01, 1911 to Ernest and Josephine (Perryman) Bishop. In 1930 she married Lynn Edward Maddox who preceded her in death. Margaret was a long time member of Eastern Star, D.A.R, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and First Baptist Church in Decatur.
A graveside service to celebrate her life and the lives she touched to be held at Graceland Cemetery Friday July 16, 2010 at 10:00 am. Pastor Steve Mechem of the First Baptist Church will officiate. She is survived by her son, Gary E. Maddox and wife Karen, daughter Mary Lynn Van Praag-Maxwell, grandchildren, Gregory S. Van Praag, Wade B. Maddox, Craig L. Maddox, James G. Maddox, and 10 great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one grand child Kevin P. Maddox.
