Marge Kramer's Obituary
Marge Carlock Kramer, 75, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 p.m. in her home. Marge was born November 24, 1936 in Pana, IL, daughter of Bill and Mary Waddington Carlock. She married Richard C. Kramer on February 23, 1954 at St. Pats in Pana, IL. Marge enjoyed volunteering at We Care in Morton, IL and for the Decatur CAT Retirees Club. She loved family reunions, fall festivals, covered bridges, music, beautiful paintings and quality time with loved ones. Marge was especially talented at interior home decorating. She will be remembered for her generosity and caring for others. She always thought of others before herself. She showed her love for others through her caring words and boundless giving heart. Surviving is her husband, Richard of Decatur. Marge and Richard had three sons, Richard 'Dirk' (deceased), William Brett (Maria) of Chicago, and Darren Scott (Rachel) of Germantown Hills, IL. Marge loved her grandkids: Katie, Colton, Quinn, Maria, Weston, great-granddaughter Brooklyn, her home, family and friends; also surviving are her sisters: Jean Redman of Maroa, Patty (Loren) Glasscock of Oreana, and brother, Greg (LeighAnn) Carlock of Pana. Marge was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Phyllis Hunter. She will be missed by all who knew the warmth of her smile and her love. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin, celebrant; visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Committal service will be 1 p.m. in Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, IL.
