Maria Alba Carballosa's Obituary
Maria Carballosa, 35, of Chicago, formerly of Decatur, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Rush Presbyterian Hospital.
Maria was born January 15, 1982, in Decatur, to Rafael Carballosa and Angela Mitchell.
Maria is survived by her two children, Jose “JJ” Carballosa of Decatur and Josie Boyer of Clinton; her mother, Angela Mitchell of Clinton; her two brothers, Jose “Joey” Carballosa of Decatur and Brandon Mitchell of Clinton; and her two sisters, Josephita Mitchell of Lincoln and Elizabeth Carballosa of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her father; daughter, Billiejo; her brother, Jehovah Carballosa and her sister, Andrea Mitchell.
Visitation services to celebrate the life of Maria Carballosa will be from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to her sister, Elizabeth Carballosa.
