Marie C. Weber's Obituary
Marie C. Weber, 79, of Middleburg, FL died Sunday (March 15, 2009) at the Shands in Gainseville, FL. James R. Weber, 80, of Middleburg, FL died Monday (March 16, 2009) at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Both are former residents of Decatur, Illinois.
Visitation will be at Graceland/Fairlawn in Decatur, IL at 10am Saturday March 28 until the Memorial Services begin at 11am. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Steven Decatur Masonic Lodge #979 for donation to Masonic Charities.
Mrs. Weber was retired from Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1929 in Taylor Springs, IL. Mr. Weber was retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was born on April 25, 1928 in Decatur, IL. They were married on March 6, 1949 in Decatur, IL. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and genealogy. He enjoyed trains, model trains, and bird watching. She was a member of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the Steven Decatur Masonic Lodge # 979 and American Theatre Organ Society. They both enjoyed traveling over the years.
Surviving are 4 daughters and 4 son in-laws, Pamela (Paul) Jarosy of Decatur, IL, Nancy (George) McVey of Fort Wayne, IN, Alice (Brad) Berry of Ely, MN, and Patricia (Michael) Kunkle of Orange Park, FL, 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Also, are her sisters Betty Monk of North Carolina and Connie Rafferty of Griggsville, IL.
