Marilyn J. Lane's Obituary
Decatur-Marilyn J. Lane, 70, of Decatur, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 21, 1943 in Decatur the daughter of Erma and Robert Riley. She was previously employed as an LPN retiring after thirty years of service. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed watching old movies and doing crafts, especially painting nativity scenes.
She leaves behind her sons Doug Risley and wife Alice and Scott Risley and wife Sara, grandchildren Danny Risley, Alicia Risley, and Shay Risley, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren Ava Roddis and, her sister Migayla Pugsley, and several nieces and nephews.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, brother Dennis Riley, and sister Wanda Cohoon.
Services to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.
