Marion Snyder's Obituary
Marion Snyder, 67, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026.
He was born on November 17, 1958, to the late Dolores Colter and Leroy Snyder. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and an active member of Maranatha Assembly of God in Decatur. He made his living in metal manufacturing. In his free time, Marion enjoyed remodeling houses, working on cars, and doing anything he could to help other people.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Lucille Snyder Jones, and his grandparents, Irvin & Marie Jessup.
He will be missed by his sisters, Janet Snyder and husband Mario Magee Sr., Trease Reeves and husband Rob, Brenda Miller and husband Josh; daughter, Victoria Sloan and husband Alex; as well as two adopted children, several nieces and nephews, and too many great nieces and nephews to count.
Celebration of life for Marion Snyder will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Maranatha Assembly of God in Decatur.
