Marjorie Lee Saack's Obituary
Marjorie Lee Saack, 81, passed away at 4:30 A.M. on Tuesday (02-10-2026) in Mt. Zion Health and Rehab, Mt. Zion, IL.
Marjorie was born on January 26, 1945, in Belvidere, IL, the daughter of John Roland and Garnet Marie (Butz) Roland.
Marjorie worked for Aramark at NIU in Dekalb and Decatur, IL, Salvation Army in Dekalb, IL, and for Aramark at Decatur Public Schools. She loved her dogs, her grandkids, and had a love for tigers. She always enjoyed being on her Tablet.
She is survived by her children: Randy Phipps and wife Marcia of Niantic, IL; Tina Tertocha of Sullivan, IL; and Laura Johnson and partner Terry of Winnebago, IL; fourteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Hubert Phipps, two daughters Mary Logan and Penny Fennimore, son-in-law Mark Tertocha, and great-grandchild Jayden Marshawn Comage.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday (02-20-2026) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitors one hour prior to the service. The burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park.
