Mark H. Colbert's Obituary
Mark Henry Colbert, 64, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Monday (11-17-2025) at his home.
Mark was born on October 6, 1961, in Chicago, IL, the son of Henry Colbert and Joan (Erickson) Colbert. He married Sheila Beth Hopkins on May 5th, 1983, in Decatur, IL.
Mark worked as a welder/sandblaster at Mason Manufacturing and Kopetz Manufacturing. He was a member of the A.B.A.T.E. motorcycle rights organization. Mark enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was a really good guy who loved all of his friends and family. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his two sons: Joel Colbert and wife Kelsey of Bethany, IL, and Jared Colbert of Decatur, IL; five grandchildren: Aaliyah Colbert, Jasper Colbert, Falynn Irvin, Annthanee Colbert, and Alie’jah Colbert; two brothers: Tom Colbert and wife Kim of Decatur, IL, and Brian Colbert of IN; sister Lori Yeager and husband Riff of NM.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, and one son Brandon Colbert.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday (11-29-2025) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
