Mark A. Davis' Obituary
Decatur-Mark A. Davis, 49, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mark was born May 24, 1964, in Decatur, the son of Roger Lee and Blanche M. (Flannigan) Davis. He worked at Wallender Deadman Printing for seven years. He loved yard work and was a member GT Church.
He leaves behind his life partner Stehpe Major of Decatur, parents Roger and Blanche of Decatur, brothers and sisters Robin Petrowsky and husband Michael of Decatur, Steve Davis and wife Toni of Decatur, Kevin Davis and wife Carla of Moweaqua, Kim Chaney of Decatur, Holly Snoke and husband Curtis of Dalton City, sister Allison Hullinger and husband Matthew of Decatur, and Melanie Harvel and husband Jon of Mt. Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews.
He was reunited in Heaven with his sister Billie Jo Ward.
Mark loved life and so many people. His nieces and nephews were such a treasure to him and he would get down on the floor to play just to hear them giggle.
Services to celebrate Mark’s life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Blanche Davis.
