Mark A. Logan's Obituary
Decatur- Mark A. Logan, 49, of Decatur passed away peacefully at his residence September 19, 2010 with his loving family by his side.
Services to celebrate Mark's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 in the chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Ginder officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Mark was born November 18, 1960 in Decatur, the son of Louis and Edith (Cunningham) Logan. He was previously employed at Morgan Sash and Hundman Millwright with twenty-seven years of service. He was an avid fisherman, Cubs, and NASCAR fan. He married Carol Kahler June 28, 1985.
He leaves behind Carol, his beloved wife of twenty-five years, son; Darin and wife Anne, grandson; Mark Louis, the love of his life, parents; Louis and Edith, brothers; Allen (Karen), Jerry (Chris), and Tim (Suzanne), sister; Nita Pope (Jim), father and mother-in-law; Arthur and Ardyth Kahler, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
He was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Pastor Ginder, Cancer Care Specialists, DMH, and DMH Hospice.
