Mark C. Stine Jacobs' Obituary
Decatur- Mark C. Stine Jacobs, 56, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in St. Mary's Hospital.
Mark was born May 28, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Carroll and Jo-Ann Jacobs. He loved music. He especially loved all of the attention he received from his family and the many nurses that cared for him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother Jo-Ann, father Carroll, sisters Karen Root (Ed) of Decatur and Cheryl Fechter (Joe), nieces Amy Smith (Josh) of Decatur, Kelly Root of Decatur, Jennifer Jordan (Scott) of Decatur, and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Mark's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 N. Monroe St. Decatur. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Autism Awareness.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Atluri, all DMH Healthcare Staff, 4th floor nurses at St. Mary's Hospital, and special caregiver Heather.
