Martha Ann Park's Obituary
Martha Ann Park, 81, of Decatur, passed away at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Symphony of Decatur.
Martha was born June 23, 1933 in Glasgow, KY, the daughter of Roger and Elizabeth (Crumpton) Wooten. She married Quinlan Ralph England in 1956. She later married Ronald Lee Park in 1968. She enjoyed caring for young children and spending time with family. She loved to cook for friends and family. She was a full time homemaker.
She is survived by her three children, Jeff England of Vandalia, IL, Bill (Kim) England of Decatur and Ken (Cheryl) England of Maroa; four grandchildren, Jim (Debbie) England, Chris England, Jessica England and Rachel England; two great-grandchildren, Braden and Jameson England; five siblings, Wanda Brown, Myrtle (Howard) Shirley, Anna Doolin, James Wooten and Doris York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Quinlan England and Ronald Park; one daughter, Rebecca England; one grandson, Nic England; six siblings, George Wooten, Rose Riley, Henry Wooten, Katherine Parker, Virgil Wooten and Richard Wooten.
Martha requested a small family ceremony with no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Alzheimer’s Association.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Symphony of Decatur for her excellent care.
