Mary Ann Broske's Obituary
Mary Ann Broske, 79, of Decatur, passed away peacefully Friday, October 30, 2015, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Mary Ann was born September 22, 1936 in Decatur to Arthur T. and Mary K (Ware) Gallivan. She married James F. Broske on November 17, 1956, in Decatur. He passed away July 24, 2010.
Mary Ann was an executive administrator for Mueller Co. and a member of the IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals). She enjoyed her luncheons and dinners with the Mueller Co. retiree ladies. She loved camping with her husband and taking bus trips with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Randy) Marquis of Assumption; two grandchildren, Britney and Trevor Marquis and one great-grandson, Corbyn Marquis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother.
Funeral Liturgy to celebrate the life of Mary Ann Broske will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2015, in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
