Mary Ann England's Obituary
Decatur-Mary Ann England, 69, of Decatur, passed away 5:50 pm Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.
Mary was born September 5, 1941 in Decatur the daughter of Floyd E. and Mildred M. (Burk) Moore. She married Jack England on July 24, 1982 in Decatur. She worked at home as a homemaker. Mary's family was proud of her that she obtained her GED at the age of 43 on November 13, 1984. She was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church and she was a beloved mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Lori Wilson of Decatur, Teresa (husband Danny) Banks of Decatur, and Elizabeth (husband Dean) Davis of Crown Point, IN, sons, Troy Ellis of Georgia, Ron (wife Lisa) Bond of Moweaqua, and Kevin (wife Mary) Bond of East Peoria, brothers, Frank Moore of Decatur, Donald (wife Janet) Moore of Decatur, and Bill (wife Gwalia) Moore, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, sister Opal Moore, and brother Everett Moore.
Services to celebrate Mary's life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Committal services followed by entombment will be at the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church.
