Mary Lorena Foreman's Obituary
Mary Lorena Foreman, 69, of Decatur, IL died Sunday 24, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL.
Mary was born September 21, 1948 in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Hilbert Tom and Phyllis (Sheridan) Barding. She married John Michael Foreman on April 12. 1992 in Decatur, IL.
She earned a certificate as a medical transcriptionist from Penn Foster and worked as a book keeper for various businesses and medical offices. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Mary was a person of many talents. She enjoyed crafting, especially painting, sewing and ceramics. She was very creative and was well known for her cake decorating abilities.
Surviving are her husband of 26 years, John Michael Foreman; children, Thomas Quimby (Selena) of Decatur, IL, Christina M. Quimby-Melhorn (Tim) of Decatur, IL, Jason Foreman (Lindsey) of Richmond, VA, Christy Michelle Fyke (Chad) of Mt. Zion, IL, Willey “Sunshine” Wattley of Decatur, IL; step sister, Nancy (Barding) Bowman; grandchildren, Thomas A. Quimby (Samara), Lauren Taylor, Christian Fyke, Caley Fyke, Ollie Michael Foreman, Vivian Kate Foreman; great-grandchildren, Jacelynn Quimby, Evelynn Quimby and Emmalynn Quimby.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Dean Barding, and Elizabeth McGlade.
Private services will be held, at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
