Mary Marlene Lange's Obituary
Mary Marlene Lange, 73, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, in Forsyth, IL. Mary was born on August 15, 1952, in Bowling Green, KY, the daughter of Earl Thomas and Mary Ann (Harris) Poole.
Marlene married her beloved husband, Monte Lange, on August 14, 1971, in Bowling Green, KY. They spent a wonderful 51 years together before Monte’s passing on January 7, 2023. Marlene was known to run her household with finesse; she was a wonderful cook with incredible attention to detail. She loved financial management, which showed in her day-to-day life, including in her career as a secretary at financial institutions.
Marlene is survived by her brother — Earl Poole of Bowling Green, KY; and dear friends — Tom and Julie Howard of Decatur, IL.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents — Earl and Mary Poole; and her husband — Monte Lange.
