John and family,We were sad to learn of Katie's passing. We so enjoyed visiting with both of you, especially at St. Stanislaus and about Macon. The church was torn down by the diocese, but we will hold those days and visiting with Katie close to our hearts. (Andrew, Lindsay sends her deepest sympathy.)Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.Your friends,Joe, Sheryl, Ryan, and Brent Murray and Lindsay Murray-Ashley

Dear John and family, I was so sorry to hear the news tonight. I have lots of fond memories when you'd all visit Uncle Dave next door all those years on Plover Drive. She was an amazing woman, so giving, so nice, welcomed us with open arms. I'll be praying for all the family.
Peace be with you all. It's difficult to think about Katie's smile and laughter not being part of this world. I was blessed to know Katie most of her life and will always smile when I think of her.
Dear John, Jodi, Jill, & Andrew,My thoughts and prayers are with you this morning. I wish I could be there, but I am unable to leave work. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying you feel God's presence and love during this very difficult day and the days to come. Katie was an amazing woman and will never be forgotten! Love to all,Angie
John, Jill, Jodi, and Andrew, I was so sorry to hear about Katie! I remember when the two of you bought our house on Kater Drive and Jill was just a baby. I babysat for Jill and Katie cut my hair in the basement. Both of you were so kind and friendly. Katie always had a bubbly laugh. Mpm and Dad thought a lot of both of you. I have such fond memories of you in South Shores. I am sorry that I unable to be at the visitation. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Joanie Shoemaker Merrill

Through the tears, I am remembering all the wonderful times we shared when the kids were little and on through the many years we have been friends. I can even laugh about some of our escapades, but my heart is heavy. I will miss you so much, my dear friend. John, you are the most caring, kind, sweet person I know. Katy was lucky to have you in her life and you were lucky to have her in your life. Tom and I love you all.
Jill, Jody, Andrew and John – You continue to be in our thoughts and our prayers. May God bless you and comfort you in this time of need.
