Decatur-Matthew A. Hollgarth, 21, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012.
Services to celebrate Matthew's life will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Mt. Zion Civic Center, 160 Wildwood Drive.
Matthew was born September 20, 1991 in Decatur, the son of Frank and Marci (Moore) Hollgarth. His world revolved around his son 'Lando'. He loved working on cars with his Dad and riding his Dad's Harley. He loved spending time with his sister Lauren and his brothers Frankie and Dustin they had a bond that couldn't be broken. He also loved to play football with his brothers, family, and friends. He was always very happy, loved to joke around, and always had a smile on his face that would light up a room. You always would have a good time when Matthew was around. He accomplished earning his GED that he worked very hard for.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Landyn 'Lando' Hollgarth, parents Frank and Marci, soul mate and best friend Amber King, special grandparents Francie and Gene Burrous and Charles and Louise Hollgarth, brothers Frankie and Dustin Hollgarth, sister Lauren Moore, special uncles Teddy and Alan, also Johnny and Steve special cousins which he idolized and who had a bond like brothers, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Words cannot express how much Matthew is loved. He will be missed dearly. He touched the lives of everyone he met.
