I have many great childhood memories of Matt…playing whiffle ball together in the backyard every summer day with the other kids in the neighborhood before going to our baseball team's games at night; playing basketball at the March's house; hanging out with Matt, Tom Powell, David Mair, and David England; and of course, working together for Buster Powell at Decatur Milk & Ice.RIP Matt

I only met Matt once, but heard oh so many stories about him from Karen. Karen and I went through the PACE program together at Millikin for 18 months. During that time she shared so many funny stories of her Matt and things they did together. How great he was with Beth and the brand new grandbaby Mikayla!. Her eyes would light up and sometimes tear over with laughter.Karen, hang tight to those memories as I am sure Matt will be doing also, hugs, my dear cohort sister! Love ya, Linda
