Maxine Elizabeth Leschewski's Obituary
Maxine E. Leschewski, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away, Saturday, July 10, 2021. She passed peacefully at her granddaughter’s home with her loving family by her side.
Maxine was born October 28, 1937, in Decatur, the daughter of Wally and Lillian (Norman) Tater. Maxine retired from Citizens Bank and then worked for many years at Krekel’s North. Maxine enjoyed camping, watching hummingbirds and just being outdoors. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was a grandma to everyone.
Surviving is her son Kerry (wife, Sherry) Branson of Decatur. Sister, Mattie, 3 brothers, Ronald, Larry, and Wally, 4 granddaughter’s, Tiffany and Misty Giles, Crystal, and Tara Yates, 2 grandsons, Shane Branson and Corey Yates, great grandchildren, Krista (Kam), Ashley, Dominic, Jordan, Brayden and Coriana, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, daughter, Michelle, sisters Nancy and Linda, and brothers, Johnny, and Albert.
Services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery on July 30th at 12 pm.
