Melvin D Weaver's Obituary
Melvin D. Weaver, 79, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in his home.
Melvin was born May 26, 1933 in Owaneco, IL, the son of Clifford E. and Hazel (Keiser) Weaver.
Melvin is survived by his son, David Weaver of Decatur; daughter-in-law Barb Weaver, their children Stacy and Nick Weaver; daughters, Rozanna and Sandy; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three brothers and nine sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He worked 37 years at Caterpillar Tractor Co. of which the last 14 years he served as the International Rep of the United Auto Workers. He was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Colorado Springs, CO.
There will be a private celebration of life held for Melvin.
