Decatur- Metta Elizabeth Quinlan, 73, of Decatur passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in St. Mary's Hospital.
Private family burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Metta was born May 27, 1939 in Decatur. She was previously employed with Enterprise School from 1972 to 1993 as a school teacher. She married Gary Quinlan on July 3, 1960 in Decatur, IL.
She leaves behind her husband Gary Quinlan of Decatur; daughter, Kelly Winking (David) of Chesterfield, MO; son, Scott Quinlan (Kim) of Harristown, IL; and four grandchildren, Ryan Winking, Hailey Quinlan, Kayla Winking, and Garrett Quinlan.
