Michael Edward Bullock's Obituary
Danville – Michael Edward Bullock, 79, of Danville, formerly of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Michael was born on August 9, 1946, in Decatur, IL the son of William Bullock and Erma (Miller) Bullock. He attended Eisenhower High School and then served our country for the Navy in Vietnam, afterwards attending San Diego State University where he mastered his abilities to surf. Michael was an avid artist, veracious reader, and a true sports fanatic. Watching the Chicago Bears and Fighting Illini were paramount. He could regularly be found where any poker game or good time was being had. A lover of the outdoors, going fishing and golfing were a common pastime. His sense of humor and wit were only overshadowed by his kind and giving heart.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Shannon (Matthew)Dickerson of Florida; grandson Trevin Dickerson of FL; siblings: Paula Bullock of Decatur and Scott Bullock of OH; one niece, two nephews, along with other relatives and close friends who meant the world to him.
Graveside service will be 2pm, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Garver Cemetery.
