Michael Joseph Bush's Obituary
Michael Joseph Bush, 67, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away March 24, 2025, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Michael was born in Decatur on August 20, 1957, the son of Harold and Beulah (Litchtenberger) Bush. He married Elizabeth Lewis on December 28, 1980, in Decatur. Michael was a cable worker for various cable companies over many years. In his free time, he was an avid collector of coins and Hot Wheel cars. He enjoyed many good pickleball games at the Y. He was a great fan of music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth; son Brice Bush and fiancée Jewel; grandchildren Mason Bush and Carson Bush; brothers-in-law Mike Lewis and Rick (Jenn) Lewis; cousins Angela Fair and Greg Giles; nieces Lora Ford, Maris Bruner, and Ricci Harke; nephew Jordan Lewis; great-nieces Mallory Fletcher and Mayla Horrom; great-nephew Aven Horrom; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Michael will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and will be followed by a funeral service at 11am. Burial in North Fork Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
