Michael Clendenen's Obituary
Michael Frank Clendenen, 57, of Decatur, IL passed away, December 29, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, IL.
Michael was born August 1, 1961 in Decatur, IL, the son of Ronald Clarence and Bettimarie (Morey) Clendenen. He enjoyed 35 years with his wife, Gail (Betzer) Clendenen.
Michael was a material specialist for Caterpillar INC. He was a member of UAW Local 751. His favorite past time was fishing, especially by Reas Bridge Road.
Surviving are his wife, Gail; daughter, Briana Hart (Christian) of Decatur, IL; brother, Rick Clendenen of Decatur, IL; sister, Rhonda Thomas (Sam) of Decatur, IL; step mother, Judy Clendenen of Oreana, IL; one granddaughter Enola Noel, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Private family burial will take place in Fairlawn Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials: A trust account for “Enola Noel” will be arranged in Michael’s memory at Region’s Bank.
