When I die and they bury me, Just let my spirit rest peacefully.
Don’t cry or shed no tears, for I have lived some fun-filled years.
I’ve lived my life how I’ve seen fit, and many times I’ve wanted to quit.
Although my addiction has had a hold of me, I lived my life in recovery.
And when I wake under God’s shinning light, then I’ll know I won the fight.
