A wonderful person…, and I still do not forget his laugh.., which was so cool.., but especially when, as a member of the other team, piled onto me during a HS football game.., he laughed.., and made me laugh too. Having masses said for him.., Tom McQuiggan

Dear Marty, Rod, Chad and Kevin we are so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a great guy with an unforgettable smile and laugh. Remember the time we three used tartar sauce on the potatoes and he just shook his head in amazement. Hope it helps to know that we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.Larry and Cheryl Wallace

In losing Mike, we lose a great man. His obit was a true and accurate reflection of what we knew about him. Mike and the boys built our 14 years ago and we got to know Mike through that process. He and the boys became more like friends than contractors. Mike always took the time to chat with us. He always seemed to enjoy and be at peace with whatever was going on in his life. He will be missed and we are sorry for your loss
So sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Mike on various projects when I was with Hundman Lumber. Praying for your family!!

The thing we remember best about Mike is that he always greeted everyone with a smile. It never failed to brighten our day. We are sad to hear of his passing and will miss him. Our thoughts will be with all of his family over the next several days. Jack and Tanya Kelly
We lived across the street from Mike, Marty & boys for many years on the outskirts of Decatur. Great neighbors but better yet, good friends…our kids went to school together until we moved away. We are very sorry to hear of Mike's passing, we send our love and prayers for Marty & sons as they grieve.
