Michael Pat Revelle's Obituary
Michael Pat Revelle Sr., 74, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 in his home with his family at his side.
Michael was born March 3, 1938 in Centralia, IL, the son of Rufus and Golda (Hammond) Revelle. He married Mary Denning on May 22, 1982. Michael was a big fan of Ford automobiles. He worked for ADM, Carry Transit and retired from First Choice Logistics in 2008. Michael will be missed by all who knew him.
Michael leaves behind his wife Mary, children Leesa (Eric) Hoffman of Forsyth, Lezlie Whicker of Decatur, Mike (Deana) Revelle of Decatur, Rick (Veronica) Stone of Muscatine, IA, grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff) Senger, Jordan Hoffman, Dylan Whicker, Jacob Whicker, Bradon Revelle, David Revelle, Isaiah Revelle, Tessa Crookshanks, Brittney Major, Abby Crookshanks; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Long, Jayse Pickett, Zoey Whicker; brother Karen (Debi) Revelle of Forsythe, sister Dana Beth Weiss of Decatur, and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and Sister Jackie Sue Stage
Services to celebrate Michael's life will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery and conclude with 'Flight Home' Ceremony. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Tabernacle Baptist Church. Family requests casual attire.
