Mike A. Spitzer's Obituary
Mike A. Spitzer, 63, of Mt. Zion, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 in his home with his loving family at his side. Arrangements are incomplete with Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
Mike was born June 21, 1956 in Decatur, the son of Marvin G. and Ruth A. Ray Spitzer. Mike married Karen Russell on December 19, 2007 in Decatur. Karen survives. Other survivors include 2 daughters: Bridget Spitzer of Decatur, IL; Nichole (Jimmy) Pettyjohn of Decatur, and 1 granddaughter on the way, Daphne Marie Pettyjohn. Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Due to Covid 19 guidelines, funeral services and visitation will be limited to 10 in the building at a time.
Services for Mike will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM on June 18, 2020 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, 2091 N. Oakland Ave, Decatur. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the funeral home.
