Mildred V. Carr's Obituary
Decatur – Mildred V. Carr, 84, of Decatur, passed away at 9:55 am Monday, January 11, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Graveside services to celebrate Mildred’s life will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Graceland Cemetery with the “Flight Home” Ceremony to conclude the service. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation. Mildred was born September 16, 1925 in Clinton, Illinois, the daughter of Oliver and Viola (Grant) Webb. She was devoted homemaker and enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and fishing. She married Russell E. Carr June 21, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death April 2, 1996.
She leaves behind her son; Russell Carr and wife Cheryl of Decatur, daughters; Connie Wilderman and husband Sam of Macon and Nancy Robb and husband Michael of Decatur, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, husband, son; Robert Carr, three brothers, and two sisters.
