Mildred Louise Reed's Obituary
Mildred Louise Reed, 94, of Decatur, passed away August 19, 2021 at her home.
Mildred was born on June 28, 1927 in Decatur, the daughter of Adrian and Grace (Thompson) Bush. She married Wilbur L. Reed on December 22, 1945. She loved gardening, hunting mushrooms, and picking the wild raspberries that she used to make her delicious raspberry jelly.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Denton) Larimore of Decatur; grandchildren Sheila Larimore of Decatur, Steven (Jennifer) Larimore of Cerro Gordo, Desirae (Jim) Hardy, and Samantha Reed; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Wilbur L. Reed Jr., three brothers, and one sister.
