Mindy Lea Gibbens' Obituary
Mindy Lea Gibbens, 46, of Decatur, IL, slipped quietly into the waiting arms of Jesus, on Thursday, Feb 22, 2018.
Mindy was a devoted Mother, Daughter, Aunt and had many, many friends. She was a member of Cross Point Community Church and sang for the Lord.
She also sang for ten years with the Greater Decatur Chorale, and was lead singer with Todd Henry and the Legends.
Mindy was employed at the Hickory Point Bank.
She leaves behind her loving children, Ryan and Kayla Day, both of Decatur, IL, her mother, Mary E. Black-Stiles, her Father, Jan W. Wagoner Sr., Step Mother, Marie Wagoner, Brother, Jan W. Wagoner Jr., Sister, Monica Lynn (Wagoner) Hamilton, all of Decatur, and a younger Brother, Jeff W. Wagoner of Fort Worth, TX.
Mindy’s Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 Monroe St, Decatur, IL 62526.
Mindy was very much loved by all who knew her. She brought so much joy and happiness to the lives she touched. Mindy will greatly be missed by all.
Donations may be made on Mindy’s behalf to the American Cancer Society.
