Mya Rene' Homer's Obituary
Mya Rene’ Homer, 22, of Niantic, IL passed away at her residence September 8, 2022.
Mya was born December 9, 1999 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Stephen Homer and Autumn Rene’ (Robinett).
Mya worked as a corrections officer for the State of Illinois Department of Corrections. She was a member of AFSCME Union Local 2073. She held talents as a tattoo artist and was also a talented painter and sketch artist. She was an animal lover at heart and loved spending time in the outdoors. She especially loved to trail ride/mudding, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She often would place the happiness of others before her own.
Surviving are her mother, Autumn Pfeiffer (Paul) of Niantic; father, Stephen Homer (Crystal) of Riverton, IL, grandparents Tina Denney of Loveland, CO, Mickey and Brad Homer of Riverton, IL; siblings, Leanna Homer of Buffalo, IL, Brantley Homer of Georgia, Wesley Homer of Georgia, Gavin Pfeiffer of Mechanicsburg, IL, Gwen Pfeiffer of Mechanicsburg, IL, Andrew Pfeiffer of Niantic, IL, Martina Watts of Riverton, IL, Anthony Watts of Riverton, IL and Dayton Watts of Riverton, IL, and uncle, Heath Homer and extended family.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation service will be provided by Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
