Myrtle V. Nordholm's Obituary
Myrtle Vivian Nordholm, 98, of Sullivan formerly of La Place, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Mason Point.
She was born on February 1, 1914 in Casner, IL the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Goldsborough) Trulock. She was a retired U.S. Postal Clerk and a member of La Place Church of the Brethren and previously was an active member of Casner United Methodist Church. She married Walter George Nordholm on October 23, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1973.
Surviving are her son, W. Glen Nordholm of Decatur; special niece, Barbara Johnson of Bethany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one infant son.
Memorial service celebrating Myrtle's life will be 11 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 555 W. Imboden Dr., Decatur, IL. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to La Place Church of the Brethren.
