Nancy S. Ogilvie's Obituary
Decatur-Nancy S. Ogilvie, 74, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 in her home.
Nancy was born September 17, 1941 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Wally and Lillian (Norman) Tarter. She enjoyed playing computer games, going to rummage sales, and especially spending time with family and friends.
Nancy leaves behind her children Johnny Ogilvie, Connie (Kenneth) Hackney, and Ronnie Ogilvie, brothers Wally, Ronnie, and Larry Tarter, sisters Linda (Thomas) Salmons, Mattie (Mike) Nunn, and Maxine (Bob) Leschewski, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert Tarter, son Donnie Ogilvie, daughter Christine Ogilvie, and grandson Shane Chapman.
Services to celebrate Nancy’s life will be 11 AM Monday, May 16, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM prior to the services. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family in care of Connie Hackney.
