Willie
I was fortunate enough to met Neil in Oak Park in 1974.
He had a unique sense of humor, loved his brothers, and friends.
Unfortunately we lost contact but I will never forget the memories.
Thinking of you Buzz!

Neil and I were close friends when he lived on Birwood in Detroit and we went to McDowell elementary school together. He had tons of energy and was always fun to hang out with. I remember our common amazement at how awesome the Beatles were and being naughty jumping off the roof of his garage over the concrete walkway into the swimming pool when his mom wasn’t looking.
Sara and Ethan, I am a first cousin of your dad. My mom and his dad were brother and sister, and they were very close siblings. I was a year and a half older than him, and for a few years, lived across the street from his family, so we spent time together during those years. I have great memories of our childhood. Your dad was a fun and generous person with a great heart. Even though he lost touch with the extended family here in Detroit, I will always think of him fondly. I hope your memories of him will be a comfort to you.
