Neil Rowland's Obituary
Neil Rowland: Nov 12th, 1956 – Jan 2nd, 2022 – Decatur
Neil Rowland, 65, of Decatur went to be with the Lord on Sunday with his loved ones by his side at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Neil did many jobs in his 65 years, from helping out with building homes to stripping parking lots. He ran his own body shop at his home before starting a career at Miles Chevrolet where he worked in the collision body shop for 26 1/2 years.
In earlier years Neil enjoyed his motorcycles in which he won many trophies. Most recently Neil enjoyed camping, barbecuing, and spending time with his loved ones. He loved hanging out in his garage just tinkering, with the family’s lab, his buddy Phoenix.
Neil is survived by his wife, Trenda (Telfer); sons Blake Rowland (Carissa), Brock Rowland (Veronica), Blaze Rowland (Rylee) and Baby – V. and Baby – little Forrest arriving in June; Father, Marvin Rowland, wonderful in-laws Gene and Shirley Telfer, special friend, and sister-in-law Ricky, all of Decatur; Sister-in-law Joy Rowland of Georgia, Brother-in-law Terry Telfer of Hawaii, Niece Michelle Rowland, Nephew Josh Rowland, and Great nephew Ashur, all of Arizonia. Neil leaves behind remarkable cousins, friends, and neighbors. Most importantly precious memories we shall cherish forever.
Neil is proceeded in death by his mother Effie Rowland (Harvey), brother Rick Rowland, maternal and paternal grandparents, Special Granny – Lorraine Carter.

Neil’s family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at Decatur Memorial Hospital for the care and kindness during his stay.
Neil’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
