Nicole "Nicci" Dionne Barclay's Obituary
Nicole Dionne Barclay, 40, passed away on February 24, 2023, in Decatur, IL.
Nicci was born to Jenny Thompson and Jeffery Barclay on September 21, 1982, in Decatur, IL. Nicole loved helping people. She loved her family and loved God. She enjoyed dancing, including county line dancing. She liked to sing and was a self-taught guitar player. She also enjoyed reading.
Nicci was a missionary from the Salvation Army and traveled to Ecuador to help the children there with reading and writing.
Nicci is survived by her daughter, Addyson Lee-Ellyn Tippit; sisters, Miranda Barclay, Sherida Jewell; stepsister, Heather Briggs; nephew, Caydon Jones; nieces, Leighla Jones, Oriah Jewell-Matich, Jossilyn Snyder; dog, Duke, and many extended family and friends.
Nicci is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 7, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
