Norma Jean Dhermy's Obituary
Norma Jean (Boos) Dhermy, 87 years old, of Decatur, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 in her home.
Graveside service to celebrate Norma’s life will be 1 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or to Hidden Valley Community Church.
Mrs. Dhermy was born on October 17, 1926 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Sylvester and Jessie (Hanson) Boos. She was a beautician and a retired cook with Decatur Public Schools. She married Arthur William Dhermy on February 10, 1946.
She is survived by: son, Arthur R. (wife Linda) of Decatur; daughter, Kay Dobler of Decatur; son, P. John (wife Sue) of Mattoon; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
