Norma Jean Doyle's Obituary
Norma Jean Doyle, 91, of Decatur, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in Fair Havens Christian Village with her family by her side.
Norma was born October 26, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of William and Frieda (Nadolni) Strocher. She was a devoted homemaker. Norma was a charter member and very active at Trinity Lutheran Church. She married William Dale Doyle in December of 1948. He preceded her in death in September of 1983.
Norma leaves behind her daughters Connie Doyle and Donna (Gary) Bingamon, sister-in-law Linda Snyder, grandchildren Rhonda Woodbury, Jason Bien, Tara (Joe) Young, and Joy (Jim) Martin, and great-grandchildren Hayden Niehus, Parker Ryan, Austin Stacey, River Young, Londyn Young, and Hadley Martin.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, and one sister.
Services to celebrate Norma’s life will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 6, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1960 E Johns Ave. Decatur, with Pastor Matthew Versemann officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Decatur Macon County Animal Shelter.
