Norma Jeanne "Jeanne" Hunter's Obituary
Decatur – Norma Jeanne “Jeanne” Hunter, 84, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Fair Havens Senior Living.
Jeanne was born in Carson Township (rural Fayette County, IL) on April 16, 1935, the daughter of Tony and Clara (Green) Hunter. A graduate of Pana High School and member or The Brethren Church in Cerro Gordo, Jeanne worked as an office manager in the painting industry and then worked as the manager of Moundford Terrace Apartments.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Teri of Decatur; grandchildren: Whitney (Cody) Moser and Tyler J. (Jaycee) Andrews of Decatur; great-grandchildren: Eve Moser, Quinn Moser and Mackinlee Rae Andrews; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers and one son-in-law, Jim Andrews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM, Friday, October 25, 2019, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be 2 PM, in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
