Norma Ann Marcheschi's Obituary
Norma Ann Marcheschi, 84, of Decatur, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Symphony of Decatur.
Norma was born September 10, 1929 in Lovington, IL to Hattie and Carrado Marcheschi. She worked as an elevator operator at the Millikin Building and in Central Supply at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was a member of The Salvation Army where she gave many years of service and touched many lives.
Surviving are her sister, Pat (John) Pedigo of Argenta, IL; many nieces and nephews; and longtime friend Joyce L. Helm.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Services to celebrate Norma’s life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery in Lovington, IL. Memorials in memory of Norma may be made to The Salvation Army Ladies Ministries.
