Norma Lee Marshall, 88, of Decatur, IL passed away May 19, 2019 at Heritage Manor in Mt. Zion, IL. Norma was born September 30, 1930 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Hallie and Edith (Brown) Holmes. She married Edward Marshall, J Read Obituary
Norma was a resident at Eagle Ridge when I moved here almost 3 years ago. I’ll always remember her sweet attitude. She had many good qualities and displayed a lot of patience with those around her. Norma served on the Decatur-Macon County’s Board of Directors for many years. She also ran the senior exercise group at the Senior Center. Norma taped her exercise routine which the group still uses. She and Ed are deeply missed. They both were staunch supporters of the Senior Center. On a personal note, Norma was a great help to me when I first came to the Senior Center and after. They both were fine people.
Vickie, I was your neighbor many, many years ago on Rock Springs Rd. in Decatur. I spent a lot of time at your house and remember your Mom as a fun-to-be around Mom. She always made me feel so welcome at your home. So sorry for your loss. Sharon (Gilmore) Weaver
