Norma Vogel's Obituary
Norma J. Vogel, 90, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Lincolnshire Place with her family by her side.
Norma was born on September 9, 1926 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Herschel C. and Florence M. (Endsley) Majors. She married Forrest E. Vogel in 1946.
She started her secretarial career at the FBI in Washington D.C. Her family was very important to her. She loved everyone, especially children and spent her life helping others.
Norma leaves to cherish her precious memories three daughters, Kathleen (Steve) Hengst, Karen S. Svendsen and Martha K. Horve. Eight grandchildren; Jill (Craig) Wynne, Julie (Ben) Shea, Jan (Cory) Ritter, Amy (Michael) Pitzer, Erin Svendsen, Rod, Chad and Kevin Horve and seven great-grandchildren; Grant and Garrett Shea, Emily and Ellie Wynne, Celia and Harper Ritter and Aria Pitzer.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband in 2004. Brothers; John C. and Robert V. Majors. Sons-in-law, John Svendsen and Michael K. Horve.
