Wella lived a wonderful life. She started two successful businesses, worked in retail and also as a travel agent. She traveled extensively, including a trip to Japan to visit her youngest sister who was stationed there while in the navy.She loved her family: parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also enjoyed the love and friendship of many beautiful people from her church and community.Wella was an avid astronomer, having recently met astronaut Fred Haise when he spoke at Millikin University April 2014.She was an animal lover. She and her husband rescued many lovely cats over the years.Wella loved warm weather and the beach, spending most of her adult life in Florida and Georgia.She recently celebrated her birthday, hosting a party attended by family members from several states.Wella died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday October 28, 2015.
