Patricia J. Cole's Obituary
Patricia Cole 86, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2016 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Patricia was born February 10, 1930 in Perry, IL the daughter of Guy and Elsie (Kauder) Morath. She worked for Kmart as a clerk for over twenty six years. She enjoyed cross stitching, knitting, and walking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, sang with the Rocking Grandma’s, a member of the P.T.A., and also volunteered for D.O.V.E. She married Ray W. Cole in 1967 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2006. They shared thirty-nine wonderful years together.
Surviving are her sons, Doug Morris of Loveland, CO, Mike (Barbara) Sibert of Decatur; daughters, Pam (Larry) Jenkins of Decatur, Debbie Tichenor of Loveland, CO, Nancy (David) Trueblood of Decatur, eleven grandchildren, fifth teen great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers, Francis, John Lee, Lyndle, Elder Dale; and sister, Florine Martin.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Monday June 13, 2016 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.
