Patricia Marilyn Davis' Obituary
Patricia Marilyn Davis, 76, of Bement, formerly of Decatur, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020, at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Patricia was born April 12, 1944, in Decatur, IL, to Burl Eugene and Mary Louise (Andrews) Beals. She married William Robert “Billy Bob” Davis on March 14, 1981, in Decatur, IL. He passed away February 14, 2020. Patricia worked in the cafeteria at Stephenson School for many years. She volunteered with Macon County Association for the Developmentally Disabled.
She is survived by her four children, Ralph (Tina Ross) Griffiths, Stacey (Bubby) Stine, Regina (John Sauter) Mitchell and Resa (David) Benz-Spiker; her daughter-in-law, Angela Davis; her son-in-law, Phillip Andersen; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Dean (Sharon) Beals; and her sister-in-law, Anna Mae Beals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Kurt William Davis and Steven Michael Davis; her daughter, Mary Griffiths-Andersen; and three brothers, William, Daniel and Edward Beals.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bement Healthcare Center and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital 6th floor and Respiratory.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Patricia Davis will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter or Cerro Gordo Brethren Church.
