Patricia "Pat" Rogers' Obituary
Decatur-Patricia P. “Pat” Rogers, 60, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born May 15, 1954 in Decatur, the daughter of Michael and Pearl (Howard) Durbin. She was previously employed at Decatur Memorial Hospital retiring after seventeen years of service. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, fishing, and the outdoors. She married Larry Rogers in September 17, 1976.
She leaves behind her husband Larry of Decatur, children Bill Rogers of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Christy Rogers of Stonington, and Cindy Ward and husband Brent of Columbia, grandchildren Tucker and Zachery Rogers, Tyler Smith, Breanna and Mark Tiarks, and Derrik, Devan, and Kelsey Ward, brother David Durbin, and sisters Marcie McCafferty and Debbie Laursen.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents and brothers Larry and Jim Durbin.
Pat was a loving and caring person. Her family was her life. She will be greatly missed.

Services to celebrate Pat’s life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2155 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, with Pastors William and Brock Abbott officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
