Patricia "Roxy" Rowe's Obituary
Patricia “Roxy” Rowe 78 of Decatur, Il entered into God’s kingdom May 28, 2023, after a year of health issues. She was born on March 25, 1945, to Carl and Mildred Propst in Decatur, Il.
Roxy joins her brother, Roger Propst and Alan Propst and her parents, Carl and Mildred Propst.
She is survived by many of her loving family members daughters, Donna Baum and Penny (Daron) Davis; son, Matt (Amy) Brooks; sisters, Jeanie Larrick and Barb (Randy) Rawling; grandchildren, Nick (Shelby) Baum, Ryan (Kylie) Baum, Brock (Amy) Davis, Collin Davis, Peyton Brooks and Logan Brooks and great grandchildren, Kellen, Keaton, Jackson, Libby, Rylie and Renlie as well as many other extended family and friends.
Roxy was accomplished scholar graduating from Lincoln Christian College with a Bachelors in World Missions. Her masters in 2004 in general ministries. She retired from Baby Fold in Bloomington in 2011.
Roxy loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our, Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. She did missionary work and was a part of Celebrate Recovery Team. She also ministered to prisoners in Pontiac and Taylorville. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church and involved in their food pantry. She was a loyal servant to GOD first and foremost. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
A visitation for Roxy will be held on June 9, 2023, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held also on June 9, 2023, at 1pm at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral with Burial to Follow at Graceland Cemetery.
